Accompanied by a tour guide, you can visit the historic city centre of the City of Flowers, rich in history, palaces, squares and gardens.
We will start from the Cathedral of San Siro, talking about the Roman Matuzia, the four churches and a precious fountain (we will also visit the ancient fountain of Fontanassa).
The route will continue along the ancient Julia Augusta to enter Piazza Cassini where the Porta di San Sebastiano is located in the “Pigna”, the oldest part of the city.
We will climb up to the church of San Costanzo and then even further up to the Regina Elena gardens and finally we will arrive at the sanctuary of the Madonna della Costa which dominates the whole of Sanremo.
We will go back down through the gates of Santa Maria, the XIV Piazza Capitolo, San Giuseppe and finally Piazza dei Dolori.
