In Sanremo, thanks to a group of enthusiasts led by vocal coach Alex Penna, the “FESTIVAL STORY” format returns. For years, this format has organized open singing competitions in which participants perform songs from the Sanremo Festival.
For each song, and before its performance, a “narrator” recounts anecdotes and curiosities related to the Festival, the song, or even the singer who performed it on the Sanremo stage.
After the success of the first editions, 2025 marks a significant leap in quality with selections held in thirteen different Italian regions, with the best performers chosen to perform at Sanremo.
Thanks to the sensitivity of the Department of Tourism, “FESTIVAL STORY 2025” will feature 60 performers from all over Italy who will perform in Sanremo on the Pian di Nave stage (in the Porto Vecchio area, next to Forte Santa Tecla) on the evenings of Monday, July 28th and Wednesday, September 3rd.
Admission is free, shows start at 8pm
