A summer of creativity, exploration, and fun!
The series of evening workshops for children and teens (ages 5-13) returns, focusing on art, history, and fantasy. Each event is an opportunity to learn through play, with engaging activities inspired by the history of Sanremo, colors, and great artists.
The Program:
Saturday, September 20 – 9:00 PM
Art Workshop THE CITY IN UPSIDES. CREATE YOUR OWN INVISIBLE
CITY (ages 8-13)
The city reconstructed like a puzzle: streets, buildings, and urban spaces dismantled and
reassembled in a new scenic vision. Mixed-media creation of a small
set of the city of Sanremo. Workshop inspired by Italo
Calvino’s “Invisible Cities.” “…The Great Khan’s mind set out on its own and, having dismantled the city piece by piece,
rebuilt it in another way, replacing ingredients, moving them,
inverting them…” (Italo Calvino, “Invisible Cities”).
